Preceptorship for new midwives
As a newly qualified midwife, or an international midwife, commencing employment in Lancashire and south Cumbria it is important that your preceptorship works for you personally, to enable a positive experience for you to continue to build on your confidence and competence towards becoming a Band 6 midwife.
The Lancashire and South Cumbria Preceptorship pack has been developed in collaboration with all four maternity provider trusts. The new package aims to provide a much more personal experience for new midwives and is led by you to ensure that you cover areas that you want to focus on.
